MOM SHARES UNEXPECTED PERK OF VACATIONING WITH A BABY: 'SIGN ME UP'

For some parents, vacationing with a little one might seem daunting.

However, one mom has recently shared an unexpected perk of going on holiday with her baby.

In the video, mom Danyan Kazemi is seen sitting comfortably inside her vacation condo enjoying something to eat while her baby naps.

The text overlay reads: "Oh no the baby needs a nap so someone has to take a break from the sand and burning sun to go sit in the air conditioned condo for 2 hours? Don't worry guys I'll take one for the team."

In the comments, Kazemi asks: "Why were people talking about hotel room naps like a threat? A break from the weather and the group? This is literally the ideal set up."

Other parents resonated with the mom's appreciation of getting some respite from the holiday group.

One TikTok user commented that this was the reason she "didn't mind" going to visit family with a newborn: "Best excuse ever to go sit in a room alone to nurse for a few hours."

Kazemi agreed it was the perfect opportunity for a much-needed break. "Oh no, peace and quiet and personal leisure time how awful," she joked.

Another commented that they couldn't do this for fear of missing out on the fun. Kazemi shared that her family had too, in fact, fallen asleep on the beach so she didn't feel left out "for once."

Others shared their own experiences of making the most of vacationing with little ones in tow.

One commented: "I was living my best life 'sacrificing fun' to take care of our twins during their indoor break nap."

Another shared that they were "dreading" a family trip to the beach but has since changed her mind thanks to Kazemi's video.

The mom of one replied that she didn't understand why more people didn't tell her about the perks of hotel naps on vacation.

In response to those who'd warned her against taking a baby on holiday, the TikTok caption read: "Don't do beach trips with babies you'll have to go back to the room for naps. Ummm yes thank you sign me up?"
